Synopsis

Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has entered into a partnership with AIONOS, a company under InterGlobe Enterprises, to strengthen digital systems across its airports. The collaboration aims to deploy artificial intelligence and data-driven platforms to improve efficiency, passenger experience, and operational coordination. This initiative complements AAHL's in-house platforms such as Aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport-in-a-Box, which are already helping build connected and future-ready airports. The partnership reflects both companies' commitment to driving smart technology adoption in India's aviation ecosystem.

Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has collaborated with AIONOS, an InterGlobe Enterprises company specialising in enterprise AI, to accelerate digital transformation across its airport network in India. The partnership aims to integrate artificial intelligence and advanced data systems into daily airport operations to improve service delivery and passenger convenience.

According to the joint statement released by both firms, the initiative focuses on developing integrated platforms that will streamline key airport processes, enhance operational coordination, and strengthen customer interaction systems. This collaboration marks another step in AAHL's long-term digital growth plan, which focuses on building connected and efficient airport ecosystems across India.

Arun Bansal, Chief Executive Officer of AAHL, said the company aims to use technology to make air travel smoother, faster, and more responsive to passengers. He stated that the combination of AIONOS's expertise and AAHL's own digital tools-such as Aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport-in-a-Box-will help create a connected ecosystem that encourages inclusivity and efficiency. Bansal added that these initiatives would also support sustainable and future-ready airport infrastructure.

C.P. Gurnani, Co-founder and Vice-Chairman of AIONOS, noted that the collaboration demonstrates both companies' shared goal of applying advanced digital solutions to enhance operational performance and customer experience. He said AIONOS's AI-driven systems will help automate routine services, predict passenger needs, and enable airports to function more seamlessly.

The tie-up also underscores AAHL's broader digital strategy built around three focus areas: collaboration with stakeholders across the airport ecosystem, providing passengers with improved experiences, and building scalable digital infrastructure. The company's existing tools such as Aviio are already being used to link data across airlines, ground staff, and regulators, while the Adani OneApp offers passengers access to airport services including lounge bookings, parking, and duty-free shopping. The Airport-in-a-Box solution further enables scalability across upcoming airports under AAHL's portfolio.

AAHL currently manages several key airports in India under the public-private partnership model. The addition of AIONOS's AI capabilities is expected to help the company deliver faster, more reliable, and multilingual passenger support services while improving overall operational efficiency.
