Synopsis

Essar Energy Transition (EET) has expanded its retail operations in the UK through an agreement to supply fuel to 47 Harvest Energy (Dealerships) Ltd forecourts. Operating the Stanlow refinery in North-West England, EET, via its retail division EET Retail, will manage fuel delivery to these dealer-owned and operated forecourts. This move ensures continuity and resilience of supply following the closure of the Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery. The agreement aligns with EET Retail's strategy to grow its Essar-branded outlets and strengthen its national presence while enhancing customer convenience.

Essar Energy Transition (EET) has entered into an agreement to supply fuel to 47 forecourts operated by Harvest Energy (Dealerships) Ltd across the UK. EET, which owns and operates the Stanlow oil refinery in North-West England, will handle all aspects of fuel delivery to these dealer-owned and operated locations through its retail division, Essar Energy Transition Retail (EET Retail).

The company is directly engaging with affected Harvest dealers to maintain a secure, continuous, and resilient fuel supply, especially in the wake of the closure of the Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery. EET is one of only four refineries in the UK producing and delivering fuel to forecourts nationwide. Its strategically located supply hubs include the Stanlow refinery as well as Kingsbury, Northampton, Essex, and Grangemouth terminals, providing flexibility and extensive coverage across the country.

The partnership with Harvest represents a continuation of EET Retail's long-term approach to expanding its portfolio of Essar-branded fuel outlets. The company aims to strengthen its national footprint and deliver on its vision of becoming the UK's preferred fuel retailer.

Arvan Ruia, Executive Director of EET Retail, highlighted that the agreement marks significant progress in EET Retail's UK growth strategy and emphasized the company's commitment to working with dealers to enhance customer value while promoting 'Driving Community Convenience.' Deepak Maheshwari, CEO of EET Fuels, noted that during a period of supply uncertainty, EET Fuels is leveraging its manufacturing capabilities and UK-wide distribution infrastructure to ensure resilience and uninterrupted fuel supply for more customers across the country.
