IRB Infrastructure recorded an 11 per cent increase in toll revenue for September 2025, reaching INR 557 crore from INR 502 crore a year ago. The MP Expressway in Maharashtra contributed the most, followed by Hyderabad's Golconda Expressway and the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Super Express Tollway. Newly added Lalitpur-Lakhnadon NH44 also showed revenue growth. Despite monsoon-related traffic challenges and temporary GST-related slowdowns, IRB maintained strong performance. The upcoming festive season is expected to further support toll revenue, reflecting the company's operational resilience and the steady performance of its integrated highway network.
IRB Infrastructure posted an 11 per cent rise in toll revenue for September 2025, reaching INR 557 crore compared to INR 502 crore in the same month last year. Among its 17 toll projects, the IRB MP Expressway in Maharashtra contributed the largest share with INR 138.6 crore, marginally up from INR 136.8 crore in September 2024.
Hyderabad's Golconda Expressway (part of the Outer Ring Road) was the second-largest contributor, recording INR 70.4 crore, up from INR 60.7 crore in the previous year. The Ahmedabad-Vadodara Super Express Tollway followed closely, generating INR 67.5 crore compared to INR 58.4 crore last year. The Lalitpur-Lakhnadon NH44, introduced in 2024, also showed steady growth, collecting INR 37.2 crore, higher than INR 34.6 crore in September 2024.
Amitabh Murarka, Deputy CEO of IRB, highlighted that despite extended monsoon rains affecting traffic volumes, toll revenue increased by 11 per cent, showing resilience. He noted that the GST reforms implemented in late September temporarily slowed goods movement, slightly moderating the growth rate. Looking ahead, the onset of the festive season is expected to support sustained toll revenue growth in the coming months.
IRB Infrastructure remains the country's largest integrated private toll roads and highways developer, managing an asset base of over INR 80,000 crore across 12 states. The company's portfolio includes some of India's busiest expressways, which continue to contribute significantly to its overall revenue.
