The Lucknow Development Authority's Atal Nagar and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel housing schemes have drawn significant attention from buyers, reflecting a strong demand for affordable housing. Atal Nagar offers 2,496 flats in Devpur Para with prices starting at INR 9.82 lakh, while Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel provides 72 flats in Dalibagh at INR 10.70 lakh. Within three days, over 5,600 website visits were recorded, leading to more than 2,300 booklet purchases and 117 registrations. Online registration for both schemes is open until early November.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has reported a strong response to its newly launched housing schemes, Atal Nagar and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with thousands of prospective buyers showing interest in the initial days. These developments highlight the increasing demand for affordable housing in the city.
The Atal Nagar Housing Scheme, situated in Devpur Para, features 2,496 flats spread across 15 towers ranging from 12 to 19 stories. The project offers 1,832 one-bedroom and 664 two-bedroom flats, with sizes varying from 30 to 54.95 square meters. Prices for the units start at INR 9.82 lakh. Within the first three days, the scheme recorded 3,078 website visits, 643 booklet purchases, and 59 registrations.
The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Housing Scheme, located in Dalibagh, Hazratganj, is built on 2,314 square meters of land reclaimed from illegal occupation. It consists of 72 flats across three ground-plus-three-story blocks, each measuring 36.65 square meters and priced at INR 10.70 lakh. In the same period, the scheme attracted 1,703 booklet purchases and 58 registrations.
Combined, the two schemes have seen 5,616 website visits, 2,346 booklet purchases, and 117 registrations within the first three days of launch. Online registration for both schemes began earlier this week and will remain open until early November.
LDA Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar noted that these housing schemes aim to provide well-planned, affordable housing to residents while efficiently utilizing reclaimed land. The early interest in both schemes reflects the city's pressing need for affordable urban housing.
