ITC Hotels has signed a definitive agreement with Kumar Infra Hotel Private Limited (KIHPL) to operate a 140-room luxury hotel in Patna, Bihar. Awarded through a competitive government bidding process, the project forms part of Bihar's ongoing tourism development strategy. Spanning 1.5 acres, the hotel aims to strengthen the state's luxury hospitality segment. ITC Hotels plans to showcase its renowned culinary standards and service quality while reflecting the local culture, heritage, and traditions through architecture, arts, crafts, and curated indigenous experiences.
ITC Hotels has finalized an agreement with Kumar Infra Hotel Private Limited (KIHPL) to manage a 140-room luxury hotel in Patna, Bihar. The project is part of Bihar's broader tourism development initiatives and was awarded to KIHPL following a competitive government bidding process, with ITC Hotels selected as the hotel operator.
The hotel will be developed on a 1.5-acre site, expanding ITC Hotels' luxury portfolio within the state. According to Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels, the property will reflect the brand's commitment to culinary excellence and high service standards. He highlighted that ITC's luxury hotels are designed to capture the culture and ethos of their locations, offering unique experiences that celebrate regional heritage through distinctive architecture, arts, crafts, and local traditions.
Manish Kumar, Director at KIHPL, expressed pride in the project, noting that it aligns with the Bihar Government's vision to strengthen Patna's commercial and cultural identity. He emphasized that the collaboration with ITC Hotels will result in an iconic luxury property designed to elevate both the tourism potential and hospitality standards in Bihar.
This initiative is expected to complement Bihar's efforts to attract premium hotel investments and boost the city's appeal to both domestic and international travelers. By integrating local culture with modern luxury hospitality, the hotel aims to offer an authentic experience while setting new benchmarks for service and quality in the region.
