Crown Worldwide Group has inaugurated its fourth owned facility in India at Ramasandra, Bengaluru. The 76,000 sq. ft. centre is designed with green-certified construction, smart systems, and future-ready infrastructure, reinforcing India's role as one of the company's top five markets, contributing 10 per cent of its global revenue.

The inauguration, which coincided with Crown's 60th anniversary, was attended by founder and chairman Jim Thompson, group CEO Jennifer Harvey, Asia CEO Tze Shen Kong, and South Asia MD Srinivas Krishnan.

Built on a seven-acre site, the EDGE-certified green building dedicates over 57,000 sq. ft. to information management, with storage for over 900,000 cartons supported by barcode traceability, secure destruction zones, and evacuation-ready layouts. Dedicated zones for Crown Workspace and Crown Relocations, along with advanced digital infrastructure and smart energy management systems, enhance efficiency and sustainability.

The facility is designed to support future services such as bonded warehousing, cold storage for healthcare, and secure spaces for fine art and cultural assets. With 43 per cent of the site reserved for greenery and integrated safety systems, Crown says the centre represents a strategic step in strengthening its India footprint.

"This milestone reflects both our history and our confidence in the future," Thompson said, while Krishnan added that the facility lays a strong foundation for long-term growth in India.
