IndoSpace, a leading integrated supply chain infrastructure services platform in India, has recently inaugurated its new logistics park in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai. The park spans 66 acres and offers a combination of ready-to-move-in facilities and build-to-suit (BTS) options, catering to the diverse requirements of businesses across multiple sectors. The total investment in this development is expected to reach USD 57 million once the park is fully completed.
This launch is part of IndoSpace's continued focus on Maharashtra, where the company has already invested USD 330 million to strengthen the state's logistics and industrial infrastructure. By increasing capacity in a critical corridor of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the new park contributes to the development of India's broader supply chain ecosystem. It is also expected to generate significant employment opportunities in surrounding communities, linking infrastructure growth with local economic development.

He explained that as consumption patterns, manufacturing activities, and global trade linkages evolve, reliable logistics infrastructure becomes increasingly important. He added that the company focuses on creating facilities that balance operational efficiency with long-term sustainability, supporting India's economic growth.
Bhiwandi is already a key warehousing hub in Maharashtra, offering strong connectivity to Mumbai, Thane, and Pune. Its relevance has grown further due to proximity to the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway. The IndoSpace Bhiwandi park, with over 1.7 million sq. ft. of development potential, is designed to serve industries such as e-commerce, 3PL, FMCG, automotive, and electronics. The park incorporates green spaces and infrastructure built according to ESG standards, supporting environmental sustainability.
Maharashtra continues to be one of India's premier industrial and consumer hubs, with rapid growth in the logistics and warehousing sectors. In the first half of 2025, total leasing volume across India reached 32.1 million sq. ft., marking a 42% increase from the previous year. Mumbai alone contributed 7.5 million sq. ft., growing 63% YoY. Bhiwandi remains a critical node within Maharashtra?s supply chain network, reflecting the state's extensive and growing warehousing ecosystem.
