The facility, fully designed and managed by DP World, features over 4,000 pallet positions 2,200 for dry goods and the rest for ambient storage at 18-25 degrees Celsius. This strategic setup is poised to strengthen Mondelez India's supply chain and distribution across Kerala.
Blending advanced infrastructure, skilled manpower, and integrated warehousing services, the facility ensures that products reach consumers with efficiency, reliability, and uncompromising quality standards. Suresh Ramani, Chief Commercial Officer-Logistics, DP World India Subcontinent, highlighted that this launch further expands DP World's Indian warehousing network, already spanning over five million sq ft across more than 60 locations. By merging warehousing with port terminals, rail freight, freight forwarding, and express logistics, DP World is building resilient supply chains that fuel India's economic growth.
The Kochi facility also brings multiple advantages under one roof-reducing dependency on multiple vendors, shortening lead times, and ensuring consistent service quality, marking a significant step in modernizing India's logistics landscape.
