India Accelerator (IA) has acquired co-working operator MySOHO in a cash-equity deal, furthering its ambition to build one of the most comprehensive startup-focused ecosystems in India. MySOHO currently operates 18 centres across eight cities, spanning 90,000 sq. ft. with 1,800 desks at nearly 90 per cent occupancy. The acquisition supports IA's target to expand its footprint to over 45 hubs across more than 30 cities, offering 6,25,000 sq. ft. of workspace and 12,500 seats.
India Accelerator announced in the past week that it had completed the acquisition of co-working firm MySOHO in a cash-equity transaction, although the deal value was not disclosed. MySOHO presently runs 18 centres across eight cities, providing over 90,000 sq. ft. of workspace and 1,800 desks, with occupancy levels reported at around 90 per cent.
Ashish Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer of India Accelerator, conveyed that the purchase of MySOHO represented a significant milestone in IA's efforts to become a full-stack partner for startups. He stated that founders required more than capital and mentorship, as they also needed access to ecosystems that could encourage creativity, collaboration and resilience.
MySOHO was established by Tushar Mittal, Ashu Kapoor and Navneet Gill. With this acquisition, India Accelerator has laid out its plan to expand co-working operations to more than 45 hubs across over 30 cities. The expansion is expected to encompass 6,25,000 sq. ft. of workspace with a total seating capacity of 12,500. Each hub is set to provide mentorship programmes, investor connections and startup-focused clinics, making it one of the country's broadest founder-centric co-working ecosystems.
According to consultancy Cushman & Wakefield, India currently stands as the largest flexible office market in the Asia-Pacific region, with 79.7 million sq. ft. of stock across the top eight cities as of mid-2025. The consultant projected that the collective portfolio of co-working operators would reach approximately 85 million sq. ft. by the end of this year and surpass 100 million sq. ft. by 2026.
With plans to expand to more than 45 hubs, IA is positioning itself as a major player in the country's evolving workspace landscape. Market projections further indicate sustained growth, with India set to maintain its lead as the largest flexible office market in the Asia-Pacific region in the coming years.
