Synopsis

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd recorded a 10% year-on-year increase in toll revenue for July 2025, collecting INR 548 crore as against INR 499 crore during the same period last year. Maharashtra's MP Expressway remained the highest contributor despite a slight dip, while Hyderabad's Golconda Expressway and the Ahmedabad-Vadodara corridor followed with notable growth. The company attributes the uptick to improved traffic volumes and remains confident about sustaining this trend through the festive season. IRB's strong portfolio, spread across 12 states, continues to be a key driver in India's toll road ecosystem.

IRB Infrastructure reported a steady 10% year-on-year rise in toll revenue, collecting INR 548 crore in July 2025, compared to INR 499 crore collected during the same period in 2024. The company, which operates 17 toll projects across India, continues to show consistent growth in operational performance.

The largest chunk of revenue came from its MP Expressway project in Maharashtra, which generated INR 147.6 crore in July. Although this marked a slight dip from the INR 155.2 crore recorded in July last year, it remained the single-biggest contributor to IRB's monthly toll income.

The Hyderabad-based Golconda Expressway (part of the Outer Ring Road) contributed INR 70.9 crore, up from INR 63.3 crore last year, securing its position as the second highest revenue generator. Following close behind, the Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway brought in INR 67.5 crore, reflecting an increase from INR 58.4 crore in the same period last year.

Deputy CEO Amitabh Murarka noted that the company had entered the second quarter on a strong note, surpassing performance from the previous quarter. He mentioned that despite the seasonal impact of monsoons, IRB expects the ongoing festive period to fuel further growth in traffic volumes and toll collections.

IRB Infrastructure is India's first multinational in the highways sector and holds the distinction of being the country's largest private integrated toll road and highways developer. Its current asset base stands at over INR 80,000 crore, spread across 12 states.
