Sarovar Hotels, the Indian division of Louvre Hotels Group, has introduced its luxury Tulip brand to Nepal through the launch of Royal Tulip Chitwan, developed by KTM Hospitality. The resort aims to offer a blend of comfort, adventure, and local culture. Meanwhile, Marriott International has expanded its portfolio with the inauguration of Fairfield by Marriott Jaipur Tonk Road, marking a continued push into secondary markets and reinforcing its presence in Rajasthan's capital.
Sarovar Hotels, operating as the Indian arm of the Louvre Hotels Group, announced the introduction of its premium Tulip brand in Nepal with the launch of Royal Tulip Chitwan. The resort, comprising 65 rooms, has been developed by KTM Hospitality, a subsidiary of KTM Group Holdings. The hospitality firm stated that Nepal was increasingly becoming a preferred travel destination for both Indian and global tourists.
Ajay K Bakaya, Chairman of Sarovar Hotels and Director of Louvre Hotels India, conveyed through a statement that the company was delighted to bring the Royal Tulip brand to Nepal. He mentioned that the new resort would provide a luxurious yet locally immersive experience that fused comfort with cultural authenticity. He also noted that its strategic location and tailored hospitality were expected to deliver a memorable stay for visitors.
In another development, Marriott International has opened Fairfield by Marriott Jaipur Tonk Road in Rajasthan, a 115-key property designed to cater to both domestic and international travellers. The launch represents the brand's efforts to expand in India's high-potential secondary markets while solidifying its foothold in Jaipur, a city known for its enduring appeal.
Ranju Alex, Regional Vice President, South Asia, at Marriott International, stated that the new property would not only boost their network in Jaipur but also reflect the company's broader strategy of growing across evolving urban centres within the country.
While Sarovar has made its mark in Nepal with a premium resort aimed at upscale leisure travellers, Marriott's new property in Jaipur highlights its focus on strengthening its brand presence in India's rapidly developing secondary markets. Both initiatives demonstrate strategic positioning to cater to a growing demographic of experience-seeking and value-driven guests.
