Synopsis

My Home Constructions has named Abhishek Kapoor as its new Chief Executive Officer, signaling a major push for market expansion. Kapoor, the former CEO of Puravankara Limited, is tasked with spearheading the company's entry into the competitive markets of Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai. This appointment aligns with the company's plans to deploy over USD 2 billion into new projects, including warehousing and industrial parks. Kapoor's proven track record of driving significant operational turnarounds at his previous firm is expected to be a key asset in leading My Home's ambitious growth strategy.

My Home Constructions, the flagship entity of the diversified My Home Group, has announced the appointment of Abhishek Kapoor as its new Chief Executive Officer. Kapoor, who recently stepped down from his role as Group CEO and Executive Director of Puravankara Limited, will be responsible for overseeing the company's ambitious growth strategy, focusing on business development, land acquisition, sales, and marketing.

Kapoor brings over two decades of industry experience to his new role. During his tenure at Puravankara, he was instrumental in a major operational turnaround, which saw the company's pre-sales surge by 89% and sales volumes reach approximately INR 4,000 crore in a nine-month period. His leadership was particularly effective in strengthening Puravankara's presence in Bengaluru and Chennai, a key factor in his selection for his current position.

The appointment comes as My Home Constructions is in the midst of a significant expansion and diversification plan. The company, which has delivered over 37 million sq. ft. of residential and commercial projects to date, plans to invest over USD 2 billion in the coming years. This capital will be used to fund a new portfolio of projects in warehousing, industrial parks, and commercial developments, alongside its core residential business, in an effort to broaden its market footprint.
