Sattva Group has partnered with Aurm to introduce bank-grade vaults within luxury residential projects, creating what they call a "legacy layer" for secure, insured asset storage at home. With India's gold holdings exceeding 25,000 tonnes and bank lockers often oversubscribed, the initiative offers residents 24x7 biometric access, robotic retrieval, and insurance cover up to INR 1 crore per locker. Aurm has already installed 5,000+ lockers across 20 communities, maintaining high occupancy. The first Sattva project to feature the technology will be Vasanta Skye near Bengaluru airport, with more launches planned.
Sattva Group has joined forces with Aurm to integrate bank-grade vaults directly into luxury residential communities, introducing what both companies call a "legacy layer." This new amenity is designed to provide secure, convenient, and insured storage for valuable assets within residents' homes, addressing a gap that traditional banking and real estate services have not fully addressed.
India's households hold over 25,000 tonnes of gold, and the first quarter of 2025 recorded the highest gold demand in nearly a decade. Traditional bank lockers often have long waitlists and restricted access, leaving even wealthy homeowners with limited options. By placing vaults within residential premises, Sattva and Aurm aim to remove these constraints while offering comprehensive security and peace of mind.
Homeowners in participating communities will benefit from 24x7 access through biometric authentication, contactless robotic retrieval, and insurance coverage of up to INR 1 crore per locker. The vaults comply with BIS standards and international safety protocols, ensuring military-grade security.
Since launching in 2023, Aurm has deployed more than 5,000 lockers across 20 communities in Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam, maintaining occupancy rates above 70% within four months of each launch. Sattva's premium residential platforms provide the ideal environment to scale this innovation across India's luxury housing sector.
The first project to feature Aurm's technology will be Sattva Vasanta Skye in Sattva Urbana, located five minutes from Bengaluru International Airport. Following this, additional flagship developments across Bengaluru are scheduled for 2026 as part of Sattva's plan to integrate wealth infrastructure into all major projects.
Karishmah Siingh, President of Sales, Marketing & CRM at Sattva Group, emphasized that the collaboration represents a shared vision of luxury living that combines technological innovation with comprehensive lifestyle infrastructure. Vijay Arisetty, Founder & CEO of Aurm, added that the partnership brings secure storage to where families actually live, eliminating the anxiety and limitations associated with conventional bank lockers.
By introducing in-community vaults, Sattva and Aurm are setting a new standard in wealth-integrated living, which experts believe will influence the broader luxury real estate and private wealth storage markets. This innovation may soon become a key differentiator for premium developments across India, highlighting the growing importance of accessible security in modern luxury homes.
