Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) recently organised tricolour rallies in Rabale and Belapur under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga - Har Ghar Swachhta' campaign, guided by Municipal Commissioner Dr Kailas Shinde. The events saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, parents, and civic officials. Maharashtra Forest Minister Ganesh Naik attended as a special guest at Rabale, addressing students on patriotism, while the Belapur rally featured students exploring an exhibition on the journey of the national flag.

As part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga - Har Ghar Swachhta' campaign, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation held tricolour rallies in Rabale and Belapur, under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Dr Kailas Shinde.


At Rabale, the rally was held at Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj School, NMMC School No. 55, where Maharashtra's Forest Minister Ganesh Naik attended as the chief guest. He hoisted the flag and conveyed his greetings to participants. He, along with Municipal Commissioner Dr Kailas Shinde, urged students to understand the importance of patriotism.

The event witnessed the presence of former Mayor Sudhakar Sonawane, Education Deputy Commissioner Sanghratna Khillare, Circle 2 Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Shinde, Assistant Commissioner Uttam Kharat, Sanitation Officer Vijay Padghan, along with the school's headmasters Amol Kharasamble and Snehal Vishe. Teachers, parents, and a large number of students also joined the celebration.

A similar rally was organised at the NMMC headquarters in CBD Belapur, where students of NMMC School No. 01, Belapur village, participated in large numbers. Deputy Commissioner of Solid Waste Management Dr Ajay Gadade, Education Officer Sulabha Barghare, sanitation staff, and inspectors attended. Students also visited the tricolour exhibition displayed at the civic headquarters to learn about the journey of the national flag.

Throughout the rallies, students carried banners and chanted slogans promoting 'Har Ghar Tiranga - Har Ghar Swachhta', waving tricolour flags and spreading the message of patriotism.

With active participation from civic officials, teachers, and parents, the events served as a platform to blend cleanliness awareness with patriotic spirit. The initiative reflected NMMC's efforts to inspire future generations towards both civic responsibility and devotion to the nation.
