Indian cricketer Shivam Dube has purchased two luxury apartments worth INR 27.5 crore in DLH Enclave, Oshiwara, Mumbai-spanning over 9,600 sq ft, including a 3,800 sq ft balcony. The deal was registered earlier this month with a INR 1.68 crore stamp duty. DLH Enclave is an ultra-premium complex, home to celebrities like Kapil Sharma and the late Irrfan Khan. The Oshiwara-Lokhandwala belt is a long-standing hub for entertainment industry professionals, known for upscale projects like Windsor Grand and Raheja Classic. DLH Enclave is an ultra luxury complex situated in Oshiwara, Andheri West. The project is also home to other notable celebrities such as Kapil Sharma and the late Irrfan Khan. Next door, another popular luxury complex for celebrities is Windsor Grand Residencies; home to actor Ayushmann Khurrana. Other complexes in the vicinity such as Raheja Classic, Windermere and Oberoi Sky Heights are known for their exclusive gentry of celebrities, CEOs and notable businessmen.
Over the years the neighbourhoods of Oshiwara and Lokhandwala have evolved to become hotspots for celebrities, media executives and film industry professionals. There are plenty of recording studios in the area including the famous Yash Raj Studios. Celebrities such as Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have lived here in the early days of their careers.
Today, both neighbourhoods are going through a transformation. More than half the buildings in these micro localities are being redeveloped into large residential complexes. Builders such as Puravankara, Bharat Infra and Rustomjee have on-going projects in the region.
