Bengaluru-based solar tech firm Emmvee has secured a INR 1,500 crore order from KPI Green Energy for high-efficiency TopCon bifacial solar modules to be deployed in a renewable energy project in Gujarat. The modules, manufactured at Emmvee's Dabaspet and Sulibele units in Karnataka, reinforce India's push for clean energy and self-reliant manufacturing. Emmvee, with a 7.8 GWp module and 2.94 GWp cell production capacity, serves markets across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America. Emmvee, a prominent Indian solar technology manufacturer, recently bagged a substantial order for advanced solar components. This agreement, with a value of nearly INR 1,500 crore, comes from KPI Green Energy Ltd, part of the KP Group, and is intended for deployment in an upcoming renewable energy project in Gujarat. The order specifically requires the supply of high-efficiency TopCon bifacial solar modules, emphasizing their "Made in India" origin. These crucial modules will be manufactured at Emmvee's state-of-the-art facilities located in Dabaspet and Sulibele, Karnataka, showcasing the nation's robust domestic production capabilities. This large-scale order significantly strengthens Emmvee's role as a trusted partner in India's clean energy transition, further underscoring the nation's growing self-reliance in this vital sector.

Emmvee, headquartered in Bengaluru, contributes significantly to India's manufacturing prowess with a module production capacity of approximately 7.8 GWp and a cell production capacity of about 2.94 GWp. The company continues to expand its presence both within India and globally, serving customers across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America.
This expansion directly strengthens India's position as a clean energy manufacturing hub, reducing reliance on imports of critical components.
