The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is developing 10 high-tech sectors across 2,858 acres near Sultanpur Road and Kisan Path, with designated zones for IT parks, housing, commercial hubs, civic spaces, and institutions. An additional 188 acres are allocated for a Central Park and golf course. The layout features a grid-road system and eco-friendly planning, including rainwater harvesting and green-building standards. Public transport will be supported with dedicated bus, cycling, and pedestrian lanes. LDA's land-pooling scheme has secured 186 acres from 39 landowners, enabling plans for 5,000 residential plots and extensive industrial and commercial development, all aimed at job creation and regional growth.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has unveiled plans to craft 10 high-tech sectors tailored for IT parks, commercial setups, residential zones, civic spaces, and institutions, all within a 2,858?acre land parcel near Sultanpur Road and Kisan Path. In addition, the civic body has assigned 188 acres for the creation of a Central Park and golf course in the same region.
Rather than relying on winding roads, the layout emphasizes efficiency, with a grid?road network of 45?m, 30?m, 24?m, and 18?m widths. Construction is scheduled to kick off from July, ensuring better intra?sector connectivity linked directly to regional expressways.
Public transport will be supported by dedicated corridors for buses, cycling, and pedestrians. Amenities like rainwater harvesting, waste?management systems, and green?building protocols have been included in the submitted plans.
In other news, LDA's land pooling strategy has gained significant traction, with 39 landowners from five villages contributing over 185.95 acres without charge. These contributions have already translated into residential lots spanning 72-200 m, and larger parcels for group housing.
In total, the scheme offers roughly 5,000 residential plots, 445 acres for industrial development, and 260 acres for commercial establishments, all attracting private-sector investment aimed at creating jobs and boosting the region's economy.
Local offices are now functioning in Mohari Khurd, staffed by LDA officials to fast track land agreements and serve as the project's coordination hub.
