Ferguson, the leading value-added distributor catering to the specialised professional segment in North Americas USD 340 billion residential and non-residential construction market, has officially launched its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru. Developed in partnership with ANSR, this strategic centre reflects Fergusons intensified push towards technological advancement and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through digital innovation.

The new GCC, set up with ANSRs support, will operate as an integral extension of Fergusons global operations. It is expected to be instrumental in enhancing technology innovation and achieving operational efficiency. The companys investment in India is part of a larger strategy to align with changing customer expectations and digital requirements.

Arvind Rathore, Acting Managing Director of the Ferguson GCC powered by ANSR, stated that this initiative goes beyond merely scaling technology. He mentioned that the Bengaluru centre represents Fergusons forward-looking vision of building a future-ready organisation. Rathore expressed enthusiasm about establishing operations in a city renowned for its tech prowess and noted that the local team will play a key role in driving digital solutions tailored to trade professionals.

According to Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR, the partnership reflects Fergusons sustained commitment to growth driven by technology. Ahuja remarked that the GCC in Bengaluru would operate not by shifting existing roles but by enhancing the scalability, agility, and speed of global development efforts. ANSR expressed pride in co-creating what it described as a high-performance innovation engine supporting Fergusons business strategy.

The facility already has more than 50 associates onboard and is poised to scale significantly over the next five years. Several leadership roles are also expected to be integrated within the centre in the near term. Ferguson intends to leverage Indias expansive tech talent pool to build cutting-edge, next-generation solutions for one of the world's most vital industries.

With the GCCs establishment, engineers and innovators in India will gain access to emerging technologies while contributing to transformative solutions in the construction supply sector. This initiative underscores the rising importance of India as a global technology and innovation hub.
