Sugs Lloyd, a leading player in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, recently announced that it had secured new power infrastructure contracts valued at INR 74.35 crore across Bihar and Odisha. These developments represent a significant stride in enhancing the power distribution network in both states.
In Bihar, the company received two major infrastructure contracts from the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd (NBPDCL). These projects include the construction of five new power substations along with associated transmission lines in Kishanganj district. Additionally, the scope of work involves the development of a 33 KV power line aimed at strengthening the overall electricity transmission system in the state.
Meanwhile, in Odisha, Sugs Lloyd has been awarded contracts by subsidiaries of Tata Power. These assignments focus on introducing new power connections, upgrading the existing distribution network, and modernising infrastructure across different voltage levels to improve energy delivery efficiency.
