IndoSpace, India's leading integrated supply chain infrastructure platform, has announced the launch of IndoSpace Chakan V-its largest industrial and logistics park in the country. Developed with an investment of USD 120 million and covering 188 acres, the project becomes IndoSpace's eighth industrial and logistics facility in the Pune region, taking its regional footprint to 525 acres.
Situated within the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) zone at Chakan, the site enjoys strategic proximity to major national and state highways, including the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the Pune-Nashik Highway, and the Pune-Ahmednagar-Aurangabad corridor. It also falls along the Bengaluru-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, allowing seamless road and rail connectivity to key consumption markets and port infrastructure across western India.
The Chakan-Talegaon belt recorded an industrial and logistics absorption of 6.7 million sq. ft in 2024, as per a report by Savills. IndoSpace Chakan V is expected to cater to rising demand from sectors such as automotive, electronics, engineering, and third-party logistics operators. The site's design prioritises scalability, efficiency, and ease of access for manufacturers and logistics providers.
Anshuman Singh, Managing Director and CEO of IndoSpace, stated that Chakan had firmly established itself as a high-demand manufacturing destination, attributing this to its robust industrial ecosystem and connectivity. He added that the new park would enable IndoSpace to better support India's evolving industrial and logistics needs, reiterating the company's long-term focus on infrastructure-driven economic growth.
IndoSpace Chakan V integrates sustainability and smart infrastructure. The facility will offer built-to-suit (BTS) options tailored to varied industry requirements and is equipped with low-carbon construction materials, energy-efficient LED lighting, and RFID-enabled digital park management. On-site amenities include electric bikes for intra-park movement, auto-repair centres, childcare facilities, and sports zones-geared towards operational ease and workforce welfare.
Established in 2007, IndoSpace has built a supply chain infrastructure portfolio of over 60 million square feet across more than 50 locations nationwide. The platform currently serves over 150 companies in sectors such as manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, automotive, electronics, and 3PL. Aligned with initiatives like PM Gati Shakti, the National Logistics Policy (NLP), and Make in India, IndoSpace continues to integrate technology, sustainability, and operational excellence to shape modern logistics ecosystems and contribute to India's industrial growth.
