Telangana Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy met with Union Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal in New Delhi to discuss strategic infrastructure priorities, with a particular focus on the Zaheerabad Industrial Smart City. He urged the central government to immediately release INR 596.61 crore sanctioned by the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT), aimed at accelerating the project's development.

Reddy advocated for central financial backing to strengthen essential infrastructure for the smart city, focusing on utilities such as water and power supply networks. Stressing the significance of the Hyderabad-Warangal Corridor, he appealed for funding to hasten the completion of the Warangal Airport project.

During the meeting, he also updated Goyal on the ongoing feasibility study for the Hyderabad-Vijayawada Industrial Corridor, emphasising its potential to unlock industrial connectivity. Highlighting Telangana's advances in the aerospace and defence manufacturing sector, the chief minister underscored the state's investment in a dedicated Defence and Aerospace Park in Adibatla. He urged the Centre to officially recognise the Hyderabad-Bangalore Industrial Corridor as an Aero-Defence corridor, enhancing its strategic and economic scope.

Additionally, Reddy presented the state's proposal for developing 100 plug-and-play industrial parks ready for immediate investment and requested central government approval and support for the initiative.

The delegation also included State Government Advisor for Sports AP Jitender Reddy, Members of Parliament Mallu Ravi and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, Special Secretary to the CM Ajith Reddy, and Coordinating Secretary for Central Schemes Gaurav Uppal.
