EzUrja, a provider of clean energy and EV charging solutions, has launched a new initiative focused on deploying advanced electric vehicle chargers built specifically for the demanding terrain and weather conditions of Himachal Pradesh. These chargers, manufactured within the state, are designed to support the government's goal of transitioning 3,000 government vehicles to electric models in the current year. The initiative also contributes to Himachal Pradesh's broader mission of achieving Green Energy State status by 2026.
EzUrja, a clean energy and electric vehicle charging solutions company, has announced a focused rollout of its EV charging infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh. The initiative features advanced chargers specifically engineered to function effectively across the state's challenging hilly terrains and variable weather conditions. These units are locally manufactured in Himachal Pradesh, underscoring the company's emphasis on regional customisation and durability.
The charging units are built with robust, weatherproof exteriors designed to withstand snow, moisture, and the rugged topography typical of Himachal's landscape. The infrastructure is also intended to provide consistent and quality maintenance support across the deployment areas, ensuring reliable service throughout the year.
This effort by EzUrja aligns with the Himachal Pradesh government's broader environmental strategy. The state has set a target to replace 3,000 of its existing government vehicles with electric ones within this year. This forms a key component of its goal to become India's first Green Energy State by 2026, a distinction that will require large-scale shifts across energy and mobility sectors.
EzUrja stated that the solutions were developed under the principle of "made in Himachal, for Himachal." It further noted that the company's approach integrates green energy usage, local manufacturing, and innovation directed at region-specific needs, thereby supporting both environmental preservation and local economic development.
By prioritising locally manufactured, terrain-compatible, and weather-resistant EV chargers, the company positions itself as a key enabler of the state's green transition. This move reflects how clean tech firms are increasingly adapting to local realities while contributing meaningfully to India's evolving energy landscape.
