The Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS), held in Kochi in February 2025, has attracted investments worth INR 1.77 lakh crore across 424 projects. Of these, 86 projects worth INR 31,429 crore have begun, expected to create over 40,000 jobs. In July alone, projects worth INR 1,500 crore-including ventures by BlueStar Realtors, Canyo Health, and Kaynes Technology-will commence. August will see another INR 1,437 crore in projects begin, including Green Worms Waste Management, Renai Medicity, and Nitta Gelatin. Adani Logistics will invest INR 600 crore in a logistics park in Kalamassery. A minister-led advisory group is overseeing smooth execution, with land secured for 268 projects so far.

According to the State Industries Minister P Rajeev, as many as 86 projects, with a total outlay of INR 31,429 crore, have already commenced. Of the total 424 projects signed during the summit, around 268 projects have already procured the land needed to begin. According to the current schedule, this month projects worth INR 1,500 crore will commence and in August projects worth INR 1,437 crore are expected to begin.
According to an official release, BlueStar Realtors' INR 600 crore project in Kalamassery, Ernakulam, Canyo Health's INR 400 crore project in Cherpulassery, Palakkad, and Kaynes Technology India's INR 500 crore project in Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, are set to start in July. These projects are expected to create around 3800 employment opportunities.
The projects that will take off in August include Green Worms Waste Management in KSIDC Park, Kannur (INR 117 crore); Renai Medicity in Thrissur (INR 500 crore); Nitta Gelatin's manufacturing plant in Ernakulam (INR 250 crore); Dr Rajeev Healthcare and Research in Kollam (INR 120 crore); Indiana Hospital in Kannur (INR 200 crore) and NDR Space in Aluva, Ernakulam (INR 250 crore). These projects are expected to generate 3350 job opportunities.
Adani Logistics will set up a logistics park in Kalamassery at INR 600 crore. Work on seven investment projects were started in May this year. Out of this, HiLITE group has begun work on four multiplexes and two residential projects, together with an outlay of INR 9,998 crore.
A dedicated Advisory group, chaired by the Minister for Industries, has been formed for monitoring project implementation, coordinating across departments, and resolving issues swiftly to enable seamless execution.
