Synopsis

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has launched 'PAHAL' (Public Access for Housing and Allotment Login), a comprehensive digital platform aimed at simplifying property transactions and enhancing transparency. The portal enables users to pay property dues, verify property details, download allotment letters, apply for mutation, and complete allotment registrations-all online. Automated reminders and real-time updates further improve user convenience. The first allotment under PAHAL-a 165 sq. m commercial plot worth INR 1.3 crore in the Indraprastha Housing Scheme-has already been completed successfully. The platform also includes a slot-booking feature for property registration to reduce wait times and office congestion. With this launch, GDA becomes one of the first authorities in Uttar Pradesh to implement a full-scale digital allotment system, setting a precedent for smart governance in urban property management.

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) recently unveiled a new digital system for property transactions, aiming to streamline processes and minimize physical interaction for citizens. This innovative platform, named 'PAHAL,' is set to improve how property dealings are conducted across the city, promising a more transparent and efficient experience.

The newly launched 'PAHAL' (Public Access for Housing and Allotment Login) system is a comprehensive online platform designed to help users with a wide array of services. Through this portal, individuals can pay property dues, verify and view property details, instantly download allotment letters, apply for property mutation, and complete the entire allotment registration process online. The system also provides automated updates and timely reminders for due payments, further enhancing user convenience.

In a demonstration of its capabilities, the first online allotment letter was successfully issued for a 165 square meter commercial plot located in the Indraprastha Housing Scheme, a transaction valued at INR 1.3 crore. Beyond the core services, the GDA has also incorporated a slot-booking system for property registration, specifically designed to reduce traditional wait times and alleviate congestion at its physical offices.

This move positions the Ghaziabad Development Authority among the first urban authorities in Uttar Pradesh to adopt such an extensive online property allotment system, setting a new benchmark for digital governance.
