The orders notably include the company's largest buildings and factories (B&F) contract to date in India, involving the development of over 12 million square feet of residential space on a design-and-build basis. Additionally, KPIL has secured orders in power transmission and distribution within overseas markets. This accomplishment reflects years of strategic efforts to enhance project acquisition capabilities and strengthen competitiveness through capital expenditure and execution expertise. Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL), together with its international subsidiaries, recently announced that it has secured new orders amounting to INR 3,789 crore. A significant portion of these contracts comes from the Buildings and Factories (B&F) segment in India, where KPIL has won its largest B&F order to date. This project involves the design and construction of more than 12 million square feet of residential buildings, complete with associated facilities, showcasing the company's growing dominance in large-scale infrastructure development.
Alongside this, KPIL has also obtained new contracts in the Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) sector, particularly within overseas markets, highlighting its expanding global footprint.
Manish Mohnot, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KPIL, conveyed that this milestone was achieved through sustained and intensive efforts over recent years aimed at enhancing the company's capacity to win large projects. He further noted that improvements in capital expenditure and execution capabilities have boosted the company's competitiveness in targeted markets.
