MahaRERA issued an order directing Honest Shelters to hand over possession of six flats in the "Palais Royale" project at Worli to India Infoline Finance Limited (IIFL) and to pay interest for the delayed possession. IIFL had acquired the flats from the original purchasers and moved forward with complaints regarding non-fulfillment of possession agreements. The Income Tax department has been empowered to attach assets under the Prohibition of Benami Property Transactions (PBPT) Act, 1988, even if the actual owner remains unidentified. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) demolished over 30 illegal encroachments near Butler Road following protests from local residents.
